End of April Leaderboard

End of April Leaderboard.  WOW, lots of people got some gooood riding in the month!  May is looking good too :-) May the month of my hubby being home every weekend by himself because I am out doing CTRs and camping with my horse [LOL]  Hope ya'll have a great month of riding.   Happy Trails everyone! NOTE:   Please make sure to review your miles and let me know if I messed up anywhere :-)

T-shirts

My bad, I was not thinking about it and Jenny Anderson took on the t-shirt ordering and I never posted it here.  It was just posted on the facebook group.   Here is the info about it.  She is Team 52 - Lazy A.  Her email is horsemadinne@yahoo.com .  She had a order date by May 1st.  I did ask if she could extend that alittle.  

April 22nd Leaderboard

Here is the April 22nd Leaderboard.   Awesome to see so many people riding this week.  Hope to see alot more in the weeks to come.  Congrats to Team 74 for over 700 miles and Team 120 for over 400 miles already this year!

Just a quick note to say, my bad on not getting the leaderboard posted.  My sister is here from California for a visit and I just forgot about it.  I will get it posted tonight :-)  Thanks for your patience.

April 14th Leaderboard

Here is the April 14th Leaderboard.  I finally bit the bullet and got a new computer with Windows 8.1 on it.  I was on XP for the last 10 years and was very happy.  Not sure if I like 8.1 but I am trying so please bear with me during my pain :-)  Congrats to Team 74 Crazy Legs for have over 700 miles already.  Happy riding everyone!

April 7th Leaderboard Update

Here we are with the first week of April finished, with lots of riding since the weather cooperated for the most part.  Sure wish we could get some rain around here in Nebraska though.  Also this past weekend a bunch of us derby riders (and other friends) did a lot of trail clearing on one of great trails at 2 Rivers Recreation Area near Waterloo, NE.  We had a great time clearing trail in the morning and then after donated pizza and pie we rode the new trails :-)  As horse trail riders, we all should volunteer to help clear and maintain the trails we use to show our support and to keep our trails open.  That way we will be able to enjoy them for along time to come :-)

End of March Leaderboard

Good bye Winter....Hello Spring.....And Daylight Savings Time  YAY!!!  Had lots of people think winter was over this weekend, sheesh......I had a lot of entries to do :-)  Glad so many people got out and rode !

March 24th Leaderboard Update

Team 74 - Crazy Legs is still leading the derby with almost 600 miles before the end of March!  All I can say is WOW!  We also have 119 of our 131 teams on the board now.  I am sure the rest of the teams will get there soon as the weather should be getting nicer with April right around the corner :-)

March 17th Leaderboard Update

March 10th Leaderboard Update

March 10th Leaderboard Update.  We had a fantastic Sunday and Monday here in Nebraska and Tammy Vasa choose to have her birthday on Monday, so she had a birthday bash and we rode both days and had a blast.  However none of the DD riders that were at the bash posted their miles for this weeks leaderboard, (except me of course) LOL.  So I am reminding everyone that I usually update the leaderboard on Monday evenings after 10:30 pm so if you want your miles to count, get'em posted!  Also please be sure to update your YTD miles after your rides are posted.  That helps me make sure I have not missed updating on my spreadsheet.  

Congrats to Team 74 - Crazy Legs for getting over 500 miles already!  You go girl :-)  We also have 115 of our 131 riders now on the leaderboard.  Congrats everyone!

 

 

End of February Leaderboard

Here is the end of February Leaderboard.  Team Crazy Legs is still leading the way.  We also have a few more teams that have over 100 miles this month :-)  March is sure to be a better month to ride, so I know I will see alot more posted miles coming up :-)

February 24th Leaderboard Update

February 24th Leaderboard.  Team 74 is still leading the way with Team 54 in 2nd.  Congrats you two.  Congrats also to the 9 people who got over 100 miles now.  Another congrats to all of you on the leaderboard.  We have 115 of our 131 teams already logging miles.  Awesome everyone :-)  

DD2013 Celebration

We had a wonderful time at the Wine and Cheese celebration for the DD2013.  We had about 40 people there and we all enjoyed the food and getting together to talk horses.  Tammy Vasa gave a nice presentation and presented Brenda Messick, Team 14 with a trophy for the most miles in 2013.

 Then Juanita Team 41, who was the DD2013 Leader gave Brenda an extra trophy.....The Traveling YaYa Rider Pants!  With a great letter explaining that they are to be passed on to the DD2014 Leader.  How fun is that!!!

We also got to explore the awesome Scrap Metal Sculptures that are are on loan to Chance Ridge.  

Be sure to go to the DD2014 facebook page and look at all the pictures of the celebration.  Sure wish all our DD riders could have joined us.
